Filling out the sign-up form

The sign-up form is our entry gate to capture the high-level characteristics of your company. After you have filled and submitted the sign-up form our team will review the information and get in touch with you.

Setting up your account

• After we have reviewed your information, you will receive an email with an invitation link to set up your account
• You will be asked to set your password and 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)
• As a next step, you will be required to complete a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) assessment, which is conducted by Block Green via an accredited third-party provider.

Completing the Know-Your-Customer assessment

This procedure is currently handled by an accredited third-party provider and is conducted in accordance with the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulation issued by the Swiss Financial Markets regulator (FINMA).

• Block Green will use the submitted user information to contact you and an authorized signatory* via email to start the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) assessment.
• You will receive an email containing all relevant links to complete the following steps:
• Complete a KYC questionnaire where you will disclose more information about yourself and your company.
• Upload legally required documents such as the Certificate of Incorporation and an overview of your company’s ownership structure.
• In addition, the authorized signatory* will be asked to perform a video identification and digitally sign off on the KYC documentation.
• Upon receiving the required information, we will conduct regulatory required checks regarding Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), crime, and sanction lists and our AML Officer will review any findings.
• We will come back to you in case we require further information.
• After passing the KYC check, Block Green will contact you to confirm your account creation and to share your access credentials.

*We only need a separate authorized signatory from your company if the person submitting the KYC information does not have signatory rights.

Accessing the app

• After passing the AML/KYC checks, you will receive a welcome email with a link to the Block Green app.
• From this stage on, you can access the app and login into your account.
